Charles has been the Administrator of Appleton City Manor since 1999.  He likes to think of himself as the man who runs the place and cares deeply for the residents.  Although he spends most of his time in the office doing paperwork, he enjoys getting out and mingling with the residents.  He feels that it is important to let the residents know that we think of them as family.  Charles really cares for each and every on of the residents, he listens to them, jokes with them and will even get a sweater for them if they feel they need it.

Lisa began her healthcare career here at Appleton City Manor, formerly known as Colonial Manor in March 1981.  Throughout her years at this facility, she has had the opportunity to advance by taking a Certified Nurse Assistant Class, a Certified Medication Technician Class, attending Nevada Area Vocational School in 1985-1986 receiving a degree as Licensed Practical Nurse, and in 1986-1999 attended Fort Scott Community College earning her degree as a Registered Nurse.  She has held multiple positions as an employee of this nursing facility, ranging from staff nurse to Assistant Director of Nursing to Director of Nursing.  She relocated for a short period to Columbia, Missouri where she had the opportunity to became a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator.  After returning to the family farm to be closer to family, she had the privilege of returning to Appleton City Manor as Director of Nursing.  Her first term of employment lasted 18 years, and she hopes to have another 18 years of continuing service to our community. 

As Director of Nursing she is responsible for overseeing and directing the day to day care of all the loved ones who reside within our nursing facility.

Kerri has been an Licensed Practical Nurse since 1992. She has worked at Appleton City Manor since 1999.  Kerri has lived and grew up in Appleton City since the age of 4 as well as most of her family.

Kerri enjoys working in geriatrics and tries to ensure the best quality of life for the residents.  She also tries to provide the best qualified staff to care for the residents.


Teri began working for the Manor in 1996 as a nurse aide. From there she worked in the activities department and restorative, and later as a certified medical technician. In 2000 she was accepted to Nevada Regional Technical Center and received her License in Practical Nursing. In 2014, Teri took on her newest position as the Social Service Designee. 

Tracey started working at Appleton City Manor in 2005.  She started out as a CNA/bath aide and is now the Activity Director.  Tracey was born and raised in St. Louis until 1983 when she moved to the Lake of the Ozarks and met her husband Kyle.  They moved to Appleton City in 1989.  They have three children Dylan, Dusty and Kalyn. 

Tracey's daily goal for activities is to make each resident smile and laugh.  She truly loves the residents as if they were her own family.

Christel has worked at Appleton City Manor off and on since she was 16 years old.  She began her career working in the kitchen, transferring to housekeeping and then into laundry where she is currently the supervisor.  When she was 18 she married Buddy McClure and they have two sons, Gregory and Jeremy.        

The main purpose of the laundry department is make sure all the facility and residents laundry is clean and distributed properly.  They do mending and inventory for each resident.
